Our prime interest currently lies in the USA.
We check two things. The first is the user's geoposition - it must be close to a validated drop point. The second is a photo of the items the user drops.
The idea is to raise plastic recycling rates in the USA, which fall behind the already existing recycling capacities in the country. Thus, any items made of recyclable plastics will go. Nevertheless, as we develop our partnerships with brands, the rules may change and get more specific. We'll keep you updated.
